Upcoming sessions

Slots are now available to book through to the end of October. With the return of the school groups we are busier, so if you want to secure a place, remember that you can book sessions in advance with the option to reschedule them up to 48 hours beforehand.

We have also amended the system so that you can book for up to 5 participants at once, just separating their names with a comma. If you want to book a group of 6 or more, please contact Jennifer on jennifer@cyclability.org

Parking

The top car park nearest to the track is now reserved for minibuses only (they can't access the lower car park because of the height barrier). We can make rare exceptions for participants who really can't manage the extra distance. But otherwise, can you please advise anyone driving to park in the main car park near the road entrance, then walk up via the side entrance (handily near the loos!)

Exciting weather and what happens if we need to cancel

Autumn sees the storms starting to roll in. We do still run sessions in poor weather, unless we judge it to be too risky. For example, yesterday's rainy Tuesday morning saw 24 riders enjoying their cycling! Over the last 2 years we've only had to cancel once. If, under exceptional circumstances, we decide we can't run the session safely, we will email everyone who has made a booking. So do please make sure the email address given on the booking is the most suitable. We no longer have a phone contact number, so you won't be able to ring on the morning to find out. We will also put a blog post on the website - if you're unsure on the day, check online.

Meanwhile, if there's rain in the forecast, please remember to bring a coat - we have a few spares onsite if necessary but it's always best to bring your own. We want everyone to be comfortable - as the Scandinavians say, 'There's no such thing as bad weather, just unsuitable clothing!'

We look forward to supporting you to ride soon, whatever the weather.
