Parking restrictions and changes Fri 11th Sept - please plan ahead

If you're booked in for Friday 11th September, there will be some temporary changes to parking.

The rugby club on the adjacent site is holding a large event, with all the usual car parking taken up by their participants/organisers. In order to prevent cancellation of our session they have kindly allowed CyclAbility to use a small area of alternative parking on the football pitch just beyond the cycling track, reached by continuing along the access road).

Please note that access to the alternative parking will be different from usual. Vehicles will need to travel slowly along the access road, as there will be a high volume of people using the area, including lots of children. We will have marshals in place to help guide vehicles and keep everyone safe, but please allow some extra time for your journey and be prepared for possible delays.

Please help us minimise congestion

If you are able to share a car, that would be a great help. If, for example, two participants from the same house could travel together, please let Jennifer know and she will be very happy to arrange session times to make this work.

If you have the option of arriving by taxi, being dropped off, or being collected later, this would also make a real difference.

We appreciate that these arrangements may be more difficult for some of you. If you feel that the temporary parking arrangements could make Friday’s session too challenging, we are very happy to help you reschedule.

We currently also have some availability next Tuesday morning at 10am, if that would be preferable.
