Spring 2024 Update

Spring is springing, the sun has started showing its face at the track - maybe it’s time to crack open the suncream! We’re running our Tuesday and Friday sessions as usual throughout the upcoming holiday period (including Good Friday). Feel free to bring some chocolate to share if that’s how you like to celebrate the season - whether that’s Easter, Eid or just delighting in the longer days!

As the weather is perking up we’ve had a few participants coming along recently who haven’t ridden for a while - some even mentioned that their bikes at home were growing a fine crop of moss! The track is a great place to enjoy a traffic-free environment and regain some confidence, whether you want to try out some of our adapted cycles or a standard two-wheeler.

Finally, just to alert you that the large covered seating area at the side of the track is currently being renovated, meaning that it’s fenced off and inaccessible for a few weeks. We’ve still got access to benches and a few portable chairs if you want somewhere to sit with your refreshments, they just won’t be under cover. And access to the toilets / or from the lower gate up to the track entrance is via the passageway behind the gym - look out for our beautiful cardboard signs or ask a volunteer if you’re not sure where to go!
