CYCLABILITY® CIC
Standing Order T&Cs
Last updated November 2025
Our Standing Order option is designed to make participation easier for regular riders and to reduce administration time, helping us keep sessions running smoothly and affordably.

By setting up a Standing Order payment, you agree to the following terms:

1. Minimum Monthly Payment Options

Standing Orders are paid on the 1st day of each month. Two minimum monthly payment options are available :
-
£20 per person per month – session booking only
-
£25 per person per month – session booking plus one hot or cold drink and biscuits per session.

These are minimum contributions per hour; riders may choose to pay more to support CyclAbility’s community work. Payments must be made by standing order only (not manually each month).

2. Fixed Standing Order

Once set up, no short-term changes can be made to the Standing Order. However, If you would like to make a permanent change such as changing your day or time slot please email booking@cyclability.org to see if there is availability to accommodate your new preference.

3. Absence Allowance

The Standing Order allows for up to four weeks of absence per year (for holidays, illness, etc.). This allowance is already factored into the rate. No refunds or reductions are made for additional absences beyond this allowance.

4. Cancellations and Restarts

If a Standing Order is cancelled, the participant cannot restart it for a minimum of six months, unless they pay the full amount for the months missed. This prevents short-term cancellations (e.g. pausing for a month or two) which undermine the purpose of the scheme. If the Standing Order is cancelled, your pre-booked slot will be released, and any future attendance must be booked through the general booking system at the standard session rate.

5. Pre-booking Benefit

Standing Order participants have their session slot automatically pre-booked each month before general bookings open. This guarantees a space and offers priority access as a thank-you for ongoing support.
6. Fair Use and Administration
The Standing Order scheme exists to reduce administrative work and ensure fair access for all riders. CyclAbility reserves the right to both offer and withdraw this option at our discretion. This right is exercised subject to several factors, including but not limited to our administrative capability, available slots and individual adherence to these T&Cs.
