Dear All

Estarli visit on Tues 11 October (10-12)
As many of you know, Estarli has kindly loaned 2 folding ebikes to us.  They are proving very popular, especially for those who haven’t cycled for a long time and those seeking to ride on 2-wheels for the first time.  Estarli will be bringing more of their ebikes to the Tuesday session next week for people to try – and the session will also be FREE.  If you’d like to come and try the ebikes, just let us know – we are hope to see lots of you!  Our three 3-wheel cycles with e-assist will also be available.

Friday 14 October
Please note that the earlier slots are now at capacity but there is still room in the slot starting at midday.  If you want an earlier slot, please consider coming on a Tuesday instead. Please see the page Coming to a Session on our website.

Availability of Cycles

Some cycles are in high demand so please note that you may have to wait whilst others take their turn.  For the most popular cycles, such as the electric side by side, we sometimes have to have to limit your time on it to ensure everyone can have a turn.   If you want a wider choice of cycles,  we recommend booking on the midday session on Friday or the 10am or 11am sessions on Tuesday.

Volunteers

We’re very happy to have some new volunteers to help at the Tuesday sessions – thank you!  As Fridays are now very busy and some of our regular volunteers are no longer available, we now need more help on Fridays so if you can spare an hour or two on Friday mornings, please let us know.  We are also very pleased that some of our participants are now helping with the sessions (as well as cycling).

Booking Process
A huge amount of admin time is involved in taking bookings.  To help alleviate this we are looking to revise the process for invoicing and booking for organisations bringing large groups of participants.  In the meanwhile, as some of our sessions are now at capacity, if you are booking 3 or more people, please provide a week’s notice of any changes/cancellations so we can make the slots available to other people.

Covid
Please continue to be careful as many of our participants are vulnerable. We recommend wearing masks when in close proximity and maintaining a safe distance when chatting. Please don’t some to a session if you think you might have Covid or if you or someone in your household has Covid or recently tested positive.  Please use the hand sanitiser on arrival.  You are also welcome to use the sanitizer sprays on the cycles before use.
